Weekly Events
Sundays- 11am- Worship Service
This is the weekly worship service for The Refuge. Open to everyone, this is a night of lifting high the name of Jesus in worship, and proclaiming the Word of God with authority. Coffee and fellowship immediately follow.
Monday-Friday- open hours from 7:30-10am and 1:30-4pm- these times are open for anyone to come in and have a cup of coffee, get warm, sit and relax, etc.
Tuesday at 12:30pm- Christian Recovery
Open to all recovering from anything
Tuesdays at 6:30pm
2nd Tuesday- Hygiene Distribution-
All are welcome to come by the second Tuesday of each month at 6:30pm to get a bag of hygiene items, from soap to lotion,
shampoo to shaving cream, toothpaste to various other items.
4th Tuesday- Food Distribution-
All are welcome to come by for a bag of food, covering everything from baked goods to canned goods, pasta to various other items.
Fridays- 12:30pm- AA opem meeting
8pm- Christian Recovery
Open to all recovering from anything
Summer Special Events
Monday-Friday 11:30am-12:30pm
Every weekday this summer (through August 21), all kids ages 3-18 are able to come and enjoy a free lunch (in the ac!) provided by Project Bread.
July 6-10- 1pm-2pm
With the soup kitchen closed, we will be providing lunch every day during the above hours. A special thanks goes to Taunton Park and Recreation, as well as the folks from both Agapé Chapel and Wintrop Street Baptist Church for providing both food and service power this week!
July 11- 9am
The Refuge invites all men to join us at 9am for a time of good food and good fellowship! No cost, and plenty to eat!
July 11- 8pm
Tonight, and for several other dates this summer (July 18, August 1, August 15, and August 29), the Refuge will be converted into a Christian coffeehouse, called The Stillness. No charge to get in, but be sure to come ready to worship! These events are being led by many local believers, including some from Agapé Chapel, New Hope Chapel (Easton), New Testament Baptist (Norton), and Trinity Baptist (Brockton).
July 20-24 (8:45am-12pm)
All kids are invited to VBS at Winthrop Street Baptist Church for Crocodile Dock! Be sure to come for free lunch at The Refuge right after!
August 10-14 (10:15-11:15am or 12pm-1pm)
Child Evangelism Fellowship will be joining us for a week of backyard clubs. The morning session will be held at The Refuge, and the noon session will be held at the Highland Hills complex. All events are free!
August 17-21 (10:15-11:15)
We are very pleased to welcome back Mrs. Elsie Goldstein. A talented artist, she is back to bless us with a week of kid's crafts. No cost.
